Things I Had Done Before 8:20 this Morning

  • Fed Lord Chubbington
  • Changed poopy diaper (on him, not me)
  • Changed Lord Chubbington’s Royal Romper
  • Cleaned kitchen
  • Put dinner in the crockpot (braised short ribs)
  • Wrote a blog entry

What’s next?

Also, somebody get me some coffee.

PS–Can you believe how incredibly big and smart Lord Chubbintgton is?

  1. That’s quite the morning! (I just started writing this and I can hear the click click click of his new table again. I guess the movie re-started LOL!)

I think you deserve a rest now! And yes… he is sooooooo cute and sooooo smart!!!!! 🙂

  2. I got up at 7:01 A.M. (the Dog O’Clock was late!), walked to lake while the coffee was brewing, fed the dog, and sat around commenting on people’s blog posts. Also wondering whether COP will get over 75 before options expire tomorrow afternoon, but that’s just me.

  3. i also arose a bit on the latish side of 7:30sh…drank copious amounts of coffee…offended some conservative catholics on facebook (inadvertantly, mind you), played with the dog, thought about blogging, but then realized, holy shit! i am late for work! since then, i’ve made some awesome posters, yakked with a few donors and board members, killed time on sadly and fb and have consumed a half a sleeve of girl scout cookies…i may need a nap before i go ply alcohol to dinner patrons this evening…

also, if you crack the code on how to get the farmville requests to stop, you will have my undying gratitude and love…so far the only thing i can think of consists of a big bat…

    • Yep, I could never turn the damn Farmville messages thing off until I edited the whole thing off the apps list. My withered radishes were not selling so I stopped playing.
Also impressive work VS. Time for a gin. The Chubster is learning stuff, see he stops and thinks about what he’s doing every now and again. Clever little blighter.

  4. I got up two hours ago.

He looks so ready to walk! ZOMG! If you could catch that on video—ZOMG! I’ve seen three babies take their first steps and the look on their faces when they realized they’ve become a biped is one of the most glorious joy-faces possible! It’s kind of too bad that it’s so hard to accomplish anything of equal value later in life, but being able to walk does open a lot of doors for further opportunity.

You should teach him how to mix a proper bloody Mary!
